A historic Milanese company founded in the 20s focused on the production of hot decals, it has continuously evolved and diversified becoming a reference manufacturer of self-adhesive labels and sleeves for primary decoration.
Since January 2012 Sutermeister has become part of the Essegicomunicazione Group and has acquired the label manufacturer Label Italia. The company is located in a modern production plant, a few steps from Milan and very close to the most important motorway junctions.
Quality project
We implement checks at every single stage, from critical control points (technical office, production, warehouse, shipping) we identify risk factors and make observations through checklists.
We fill in quality reports with statistical processing, monthly reports, sharing of results and improvement of critical points.
Printing Technologies
Always oriented to the latest technological developments, the company has all the modern printing technologies, from flexo hd through offset and screen printing, to both traditional digital and latest generation Ink jet, which are used with mixed techniques or combined with each other on the various production lines, in response to the most complex market demands.
Finishing
Hot stamping, cold stamping, embossing printing, custom numbering, RFID tag implementations, tactile for the blind, anti-counterfeiting, and hologram.
Machinery
Thanks to the substantial investments made in recent years, Sutermeister is able to guarantee production with a totally renewed fleet of machines, which represents the state of the art for the sector. 12 production lines including electronically controlled Gearless UV Flexo printers, mixed Flexo/Offset and Flexo/Inkjet printers with a width up to 560mm, digital printers, 2 seaming and cutting lines and 5 finishing and control lines, as well as an internal prepress department with 4 Machintosh workstations with the most updated dedicated software.
